Yeah, they think “Trump Derangement Syndrome” is so clever (🙄). Another one MAGA loves is “Orange Man Bad” which they use in the same way: to imply that you can only criticize Trump (and lamely, by calling him “orange”). My response is, “Well, he _is_ orange and he _is_ bad, so… 🤷♀️”.
I got this one thrown my way a day or two ago. My response was to point out the irony, in similar fashion, I may have been a bit snarky if I'm honest, but it IS a fair argument, how ELSE would one describe that kind of devotion? It's also worth mentioning, which I did, that this acronym is a thing that was given to them by the king of projection. Hilariously, my accuser wound up deleting their comment, which naturally, deleted my response, I figure that meant I'd hit the mark...
